An International Cooperation Cell has been established in the Ministry of Interior. The cell comprises of the following officers:-

2. The International Cooperation Cell will collect, process, coordinate, liaise and respond to the Mutual Legal Assistance requests received in the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan from other countries as well as request received from Pakistan/LEAs for sending to other countries.

Afridi stresses promoting love, brotherhood, tolerance in society
ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (APP):State Minister for Interior Shahryar Afridi Tuesday stressed the need to promote love, brotherhood, tolerance and fraternity as envisioned by the holy Prophet (PBUH).
Addressing annual prize distribution ceremony of a private school, he said we should pledge to respect the all irrespective of their status or position.
He vowed transforming the country into a modern Islamic country by adopting golden principles of Islam.
He said Pakistan never hesitated in extending help to brother Islamic countries.
He lamented that over 20.50 million children were still out of schools.
By overcoming ethnic and religious difference, we can compete the world.
Unity will have to be developed to ensure prosperous Pakistan.
Responding to a question, he said the anti-encroachment operation was continuing against those who occupied state land and operation is not against the persons having build house or shops on purchased land.

Interior Ministry announces 3 holidays on Eid-ul-Azha

German Parliamentarians meet Interior Minister
ISLAMABAD:A delegation of German Parliamentarians led by President of German Bundestag, Dr. Norbert Lammert called on the Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan here today. Germany’s Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Cyrill Nunn was also present during the meeting.
